How to Join SOS
New members are always welcome. Current subscription rates are set out below.
To get an application form, download both sides of the printed version here:
Note that page 2 indicates that a Junior membership is £8.00. This has been changed and should now show that such a membership is without charge.
Please note that this is NOT an online form! You need to print and complete the form by hand before sending it, with the appropriate payment, to the Membership Secretary (see below). Joint members should enter the full names of both parties on the application form.
If you are a UK taxpayer, then you can increase the value of your subscription by completing the Gift Aid section of page 1 of the form.
We are happy to accept a Bankers’ Order to pay your subscription directly from your bank account. Page 1 of the membership application form includes a Bankers’ Order form for your convenience.
IMPORTANT. Please ensure that you complete the General Data Protection Regulation Consent section of page 1 of the form (including the tick boxes) to give your consent to the Society holding your personal data and communicating with you regarding SOS business.
Information on SOS Privacy Policy can be found at the bottom of this page.
Send your application form with all relevant sections completed to:
- The Membership Secretary, Shropshire Ornithological Society, Cherries, 6 Sytche Close, Much Wenlock, Shropshire, TF13 6JJ.
