Species of Know or Probable Captive Origin - the following species have been recorded at Venus Pool, but are of known captive origin or are birds which, for various reasons, are considered most likely to have originated from captivity even though they are on the British list: Black Swan; Taiga Bean Goose; Snow Goose; Bar-headed Goose; Egyptian Goose; Chestnut Teal; Ring-necked Parakeet
