Field trips 2008:
Saturday
20 September: Chelmarsh & Venus Pool Leader: Jim Almond
Meet at 9.00am at the anglers car park at Chelmarsh Grid Ref SO726881. From Bridgnorth take the B4555 towards Highley, after Chelmarsh turn left towards Hampton then left again after about half a mile for the car park. After the morning visit to Chelmarsh we shall go the Venus Pool for the afternoon.

Saturday 8 November: The Meres & Wood Lane Leader: Alan Heath
Meet at 9.00am at the Colemere Car Park Grid Ref SJ431330. Follow the signs for Colemere Country Park from the A528. The morning will be spent at Colemere, followed by visits to Wood Lane Nature Reserve and the The Mere at Ellesmere for the evening gull roost.
Sunday
7 December: WWT Martinmere Coach
Trip with RSPB Shropshire Local Group Leader:
This is a joint excursion with the RSPB Group. Meet at the Shirehall car park for a prompt 7.30am departure. Please contact Ian Baggley on 01939 210520 who will take bookings. Cost will be £10 plus entrance fee for Martin Mere for non-WWT members.
